On behalf of the Board members of the PRCCI, we take great pleasure in reflecting on the successes, large and small, that we witnessed in 2009. As new opportunities present themselves in 2010 and our membership increases, it is vital that we expand our efforts to create new relationships. As we continue to explore new ways to promote ourselves and the members of the Puerto Rican business community, it is important that we work diligently to create fund raising opportunities. One of those opportunities has come to us by way Green Dot Environmental, as they have decided to bring Chicago's inaugural 5K for Earth Day to Humboldt Park. For those of you who register to walk or run the 5K for Earth Day, we have attached a pledge form. We encourage you to reach out to your friends and family, and have them pledge you to the finish line. The PRCCI will receive 75% of all proceeds, which naturally allows us to continue to serve the general membership as we always have.
